Insta360 ONE R

Adostrophe Insta360 ONE R Twin

Say hello to the Insta360 ONE R – our favourite 360° camera in stock. This is not an upgrade to the ONE X; both are sold as two separate product lines with their own price points.

The Twin Edition, as you can see above, has two different lens modules – one for 360° capture and the other for 4K shooting, like an action camera. The best part here is that the screen is reversible. This means that using the 4K lens, you can shoot how you would a regular image (or video), or just reverse it for Vlogs. The screen is touch screen is the special feature that sets it apart from the ONE X.

Let’s start with the 360 module. As you can see above, it contains two fish eye lenses back to back. The Twin Edition is sold as one package. Here, there’s a battery base, core (that contains the screen), 360 build (the images you see above) and the 4K wide angle build (images below).

Now that the Twin edition has been clarified, we can move on to the features. Super 5.7K 360° and 4K wide angle. FlowState Stabilisation, waterproof upto 5m (which ONE X wasn’t), auto frame, point to track and much more. The ONE R comes with a host of exciting accessories. To being with – a much needed rugged lens protector to take on the likes of Go Pro. Followed by a Dive Case, 3D mount (for 180° VR) and a boosted battery case. All these fancy add-ons are separate purchases though.
